It’s not about the clothes — it’s about the woman.

Our Story

From Lima to the World

Born in Lima, Peru, Sitka Semsch began her fashion journey with a deep appreciation for detail, craftsmanship, and the beauty of her cultural heritage. After graduating with honors from the Rhode Island School of Design and training under Michael Kors, Sitka infused her Peruvian roots into the international fashion scene — showcasing handcrafted textures and luxurious natural fibers like Alpaca and Pima cotton on runways around the globe.

Her vision led to the launch of her fashion house in Lima and, later, to her flagship boutique in Miami. Today, Sitka Semsch is more than a designer — she’s a woman championing women, culture, and conscious design.

Our Purpose

Empowering Women, One Thread at a Time

Sitka Semsch isn’t just a brand — it’s a movement grounded in community, empowerment, and legacy. Since 2018, we’ve collaborated with social organizations like Sembrando Juntos, Conservación Internacional, and Operación Sonrisa, offering opportunities and skills to women and families across Peru.

Through macramé workshops, community development programs, and support for surgical missions, we ensure our impact goes beyond aesthetics. We believe in fashion that uplifts, transforms, and connects.

Our Sustainability Promise

Conscious by Design

We design with purpose, guided by the 3Ps of sustainability:

Planet. People. Profits.

Planet – We use renewable, biodegradable fibers like Pima cotton, linen, silk, and baby Alpaca. Our commitment to timeless fashion helps reduce overproduction and environmental waste.

People – We are a woman-led company that trains and supports women across our value chain, fostering growth, respect, and self-reliance.

Profits – We reinvest in sustainable practices, ensuring our business thrives ethically and responsibly.

We don’t follow fast fashion — we honor the slow, the skilled, and the sustainable.

Join us on this journey where craftsmanship, culture, and conscience meet.
